De Instant PoE Gigabit is een add-on module die wordt gebruikt om een conventionele 802.3af PoE om te zetten in een 24V passieve PoE. Dankzij deze module kunnen Ubiquiti componenten die 24V PoE ondersteunen geïntegreerd worden in een bestaande infrastructuur zonder dat er nieuwe PoE switches nodig zijn. De geïntegreerde overspanningsbeveiliging beschermt de infrastructuur bij spanningen tot 15.000 volt. De nieuwe Instant PoE Gigabit kan high-speed LAN met maximaal 1000 Mbps ondersteunen.
